The history behind it
Queensland's cane districts of the 1930s burned their fields before harvest; here the Sugar Board burns cane deliberately as an anti-emu scorched-earth doctrine, and the famous cane trains have been armoured and pressed into military service

Sugar mill turned arsenal. Rifleman Lines among the crushing rollers, a Sandbag Officer directing from the molasses vat catwalk. Interior fight, tight capture zone.
Burnett River Pontoon Post
Gun post · Defence tier 3
Lewis Gun Post on a river pontoon covering the only dry crossing. Mangrove mud slows the swarm like Barbed Wire; time the rush to the gunner's 2.5s pan fumble.
Firebreak Watch Homestead
